BIOSKETCH
Dr. Bo Yang was born in Anhui, China. He obtained his B.S. degree from the Anhui University of Science & Technology in 2014. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China under the supervision of Professor Zhong-Xia Wang in 2019. His research is focused on the activation and transformation of carbon–heteroatom bonds. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow in Professor Chuan He's group at the Southern University of Science and Technology. In 2019, he moved to Prof. Chuan He’s group at Southern University of Science and Technology as a postdoctoral fellow. He engaged in the design of chiral silyl ligands and the application research in asymmetric catalytic reactions. In December 2021, he moved to Prof. Feng Zhu’s group at the Frontiers Science Center for Transformative Molecules at Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an assistant research fellow. His current research interests revolve around the exploration of novel and efficient strategies for synthesizing carbohydrates.
